Haruto Ashitaka, lived by the sword with a goal of bringing honor to Clan Ashitaka. After returning back to his home in Hingashi, Haruto opened another Ashitaka Dojo following his father and grandfather's steps.

In his younger days Haruto was best friends at one point with Musosai, other wise known as Kogarashi.

How Haruto met Pan!

Haruto was well into his travels when he met Pan. Helping a local village rid some nasty creatures, pan was a form of payment for his deed. At first he didn’t want to accept, because Haruto had lost his best friend during his adventures, a red chocobo that he grew up with. Though, Pan was more then meets the eye, and Haruto found that out quickly.
